What is a tailor-made route at Semois Kayaks:

Our classic routes don’t always match what you’re looking for. A group of 20 for a stag do, a 3-day bivouac expedition, a team-building outing on a tight schedule… Every project is different.
That’s why we offer a tailor-made service. Robert and his team, with 25 years on the Semois behind them, build a route with you to suit your needs: choice of start and finish points, paddling time, type of boat, equipment transport, shuttles… We know every meander of the river and we know exactly which route suits your group.

Whether you’re 4 or 40, sporty or beginners, we adapt the experience to your group. Here are a few ideas — but tailor-made, by definition, means you decide.

Stag & hen dos on the Semois

Your best mate or your best friend is getting married? Treat them to a memorable trip down the Semois. We organise the route to suit your group, and at the finish: a barbecue or chip shop to keep the party going. The adventure, the atmosphere, zero hassle — we handle the logistics, you make the memories.

Team building & corporate seminars

Get your teams out of the office and into a kayak. Full day or half day, we adapt the difficulty and duration to your group. Ideal for bringing a team together in an exceptional natural setting. And the team barbecue on the way back? We organise that too — your colleagues just have to enjoy it.

Multi-day bivouac expedition

From Chiny to Bouillon in 2 or 3 days, with nights camping by the river. We kit you out with large 3-seater canoes (used by 2, with all your gear), plan the stages and recommend campsites. A real grand-scale adventure in the heart of the Ardennes, at your own pace.

Family group, scouts or association

Family reunion, scout outing, sports club, birthday… We adapt the route so everyone can enjoy it, from the youngest to the least sporty. And with our chip shop on site at the finish, even the hungriest go home with a smile.

Alternative Chiers & Meuse route

When the water level on the Semois is too low, we offer 12 km of paddling down the Chiers and the Meuse, starting from Pouru-Saint-Remy. A peaceful route of about 2 hours 30 between meadows, forests and a protected nature area. Grey herons and kingfishers often there to greet you.
