Tips for a successful trip down the Semois

A national park to discover from the water

The Semois Valley National Park

In the south of Belgium, between the southern Ardennes and the Gaume, the Semois Valley forms a remarkable natural area, now recognised as a National Park. This vast territory is defined by the diversity of its landscapes: ancient forests, wooded slopes, wetlands and villages rooted in local history.
The Semois winds through this valley in wide meanders and makes an ideal thread for taking in all its richness. By kayak, you discover it at the pace of the water, in a gentle and respectful way, giving you a privileged view of the surrounding nature and biodiversity.
Exploring the valley from the river lets you fully immerse yourself in this unspoilt setting, far from the bustle, and enjoy a moment of calm and connection with the environment.
